Breathwork and Somatic Healing Sessions
Breathwork and somatic healing sessions use methods learned from BBTRS, Internal Family Systems, and somatic therapies. I will create a safe container for you to explore felt sensations in the body, using breath and movement. We will work to gain a deeper understanding of the specific way your body feels and holds emotion, tension and trauma. And from that place of understanding, work to release stuck energy and increase nervous system resilience.
Private Yoga Classes
Private classes allow you to practice from the comfort and convenience of your own space. I will collaborate with you both before and throughout the class to ensure your needs are met. This allows me to incorporate movement and breath that is specifically catered to your body and your preferences in that moment which creates a personalized experience. Classes are offered both online and in person.
About Me
A little bit about me… I’ve travelled extensively over the past decade, living on several different continents, seeking out sunshine, good surf, beautiful mountains and magical people. I knew early on that I wanted to learn about the world through my own experiences and through these experiences I found myself drawn to healing work - for myself at first, and then feeling called to hold space for others to heal as well. My gifting is in creating an environment where others can feel safe, in holding space with empathy, compassion and softness. I believe there is tremendous power in softness, in approaching our inner worlds gently, with love and curiosity. I am here to offer guidance and a safe space to look inwards. I will support you in integrating whatever it is that you may find. I believe in helping others to learn a skillset that they will be able to use to heal themselves, and share with the people in their life. When an individual is able to work through their traumas and triggers, it gives them the space they need to flourish and grow. When we experience healing, it affects the people in our circle, our community, and we can begin to heal as a collective. Even at the best of times in our life, it can be overwhelming to find support for ourselves. There are millions of different people offering thousands of different modalities. It can be a hugely daunting task. But the beauty of that is there are a myriad of paths to healing. I have always felt that it is important to have a varied skillset, to supplement the work I do with breath and yoga with other modalities. I have trained to work with plant medicine, studied polyvagal theory, IFS, Somatic Experiencing and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. This allows me to meet people where they’re at, to have other options to offer if one method isn’t right for that circumstance. I have completed a 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training and over 500 hours of training to become certified in BBTRS (Biodynamic Breathwork and Trauma Release Systems). I have also completed a 3 month training on Integrating Somatic Techniques into Therapy and continue to expand my knowledge on various somatic modalities.
